Pick up from your hotel in Uyuni at 10:15 AM. Board your shared 4x4 and head toward the Salar de Uyuni, stopping first at the Train Cemetery to explore the relics of Uyuni’s mining era. Continue to Colchani village to see salt harvesting and shop for traditional crafts.
Enter the vast salt flats, visiting the Salt Museum before proceeding to Isla Incahuasi. Walk the island’s trails, admire the giant cacti, and enjoy panoramic views of the endless salt desert. End the day watching a breathtaking sunset on the Salar, then head to your refuge in Colcha K for dinner and overnight rest.
Depart early to explore the colorful altiplanic lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda, and Chiarkota, known for their flamingo populations and unique wildlife. Journey across the Siloli Desert, famous for its otherworldly landscapes.
Reach Laguna Colorada, a vivid red lagoon hosting over 30,000 flamingos. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the Huayllajara refuge.
Rise early to witness the spectacular sunrise at the Sol de Mañana geysers, with steaming geothermal vents and vivid landscapes. Optional soak in the Polques hot springs if time allows.
Drive through the surreal Salvador Dalí Desert with its striking rock formations, then visit Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca, nestled at the base of the imposing Licancabur volcano. Stop by the Valley of Rocks and San Cristóbal before returning to Uyuni town by 6:00 PM, where the tour concludes.
Note: During the rainy season (January to April), some itinerary changes may apply, including skipping Isla Incahuasi and staying the first night in Uyuni town.
